    Question The Eon Alpha?

    I keep on hearing people talk about the "eon alpha". How long has this alpha lasted and how much longer? Is the description "eon" really that true? I just joined this beta and I am surprised by how many people are saying that this game may take forever to enter beta. If this beta truly lasts an eon of time wouldn't I be dead before the beta started? Also may i ask why everyone is using the spelling "eon" instead of "aeon"?

    When folks talk about the "eon alpha" as you say, I think what they are saying is the EoN alpha, that is the abbreviated form of End of Nations alpha.

    As for the beta, if you didn't know, the first closed beta starts in a week!!

    I think we'd expect to see the CBT to go on for 2 or 3 months... so July, August, September. and the open beta would be in September or October, and launch would be in October or November. Of course, these are only guesses, and my initial guess for the first CBT was June 20 (so, off by a month)...

    Hahaha. Dude, you are either trolling or got the wrong game in mind or just misunderstood "eon" which as was already explained is End of Nations, but come on, eon is mentioned everywhere, you get what it means the first day.

    Some Betas last an EoN, like DoTA2's beta which is intentionally long; however, EoN's beta is not planned to be as long.

    Plans change...we will have to wait and see just how long beta lasts.
