Greetings Forums!

I'm Einharjar, though most friend in game call me "Ein" for short. I'm 25.

I'm an avid RTS gamer, but I also enjoy tactical shooters like Battle Field and Battle Front and ARPGs like Diablo and Skyrim. I also enjoy a wide array simulator styled games like GT and Freespace 2.

My RTS likes are picky. Games have to be just right in general for me to like them but RTSs are held even higher on standards because it is my favorite genre of gaming. I've been into RTSs since 93-94 with games like Fantasy Empires and Warcraft: Orcs and Humans.
I like competitive RTSs and 4X RTSs. I've never been able to get into pure Tactical RTSs, I'm hoping EON will change this.
My favorite RTSs include:
Dawn of War 1 and every expansion but Soul Storm. Did not like Air combat in Soul Storm
Starcraft 1 and 2
Rome: Total War (by far, still the best in the series)

My hopes for EoN:
I'm hoping to be a part of it. I hope that it impresses me enough to willingly spend more to enjoy the game further. I'm also hoping that the Devs are keeping the games design open for the promise of implementing drastically new content to their product, so that it has the depth and range to appeal to every RTS gamer. Why? Because maybe, one day I'll log on and want to be an Admiral. Command a fleet and launch Aegis cruisers and Carriers versus some Super Battle ships created by the Order of Nations. Then the next day? Besiege my friend's Clan on land with the mightiest of Tanks. Keep your minds open Devs. That's all I ask.

Howdy people. as per my profile name i normally go by cypherion is a lot of games. I play a lot of different kinds of games as i live in a small town with not a whole lot else to do. After EA games butchered the tiberian series i have been looking for a decent strategy game to play. Have high hopes for this game.

that was the most interesting part im afraid.

Veteran of such games as Ultima (pre EA takeover), and Eve, and delved in the Mortal a bit, tho not enough people play it to support its type of economy i think. i do enjoy the persistant worlds. The harsher ones (Tho i did enjoy Rift MUCH MUCH more than WoW or Guild wars or Mortal.)

Thats pretty much it. My brothers and a friend are waiting for release.
