I'd rather have intelligent young community rather than a trolly Call of Duty community. Just saying.
    I agree man.

Can we get a version of Eliza set up to incite trolling and filter based on that?

Hopefully by the physical age of 16 some people will have the psychological age to acknowledge the need for team work.
I have a number of DCM members who have demonstrated that they break the age stereotype. Restriction by age groups is irrelevant in my opinion, and I would rather have someone who is intelligent, ready and able to think about ways to overcome the opposition. This one of the main reasons why we are successful as a clan.

As far as ESRB rating goes, I can not see this being rated higher than a "PG-13 (T)" game.

The age requirement is probably because they are entering a contract with the nda.......... Most contracts dont seem to be binding in the states if the person signing is under 18 with out there guardians consent.

Ah yes, contract law. This means that any minor under the age of 18 can not be held fully legally responsible for their actions, and as such, may not be bound to a contract. For this reason, they are unable to accept the terms of the NDA.

and law is different in every country where this game is played so it's quite difficult to set up rules or nda, minors poursuits etc.etc..

ESRB can take care of it. Although this game requires a bit of analytical thinking. I doubt anyone under 12-13 is going to heavily play this game. Yes, most of us played C&C or Warcraft when they were young (I started playing RTS's when I was 5, first game was C&C). But back then the graphics weren't that great and I think we can all agree that back in the olden days of the genre it was just tank spamming anyway. Not the rock-paper-scissors layout we have now.

I play games with my son that make this look like a walk in the park. Honestly I don't see much violence at all in this as it's all drawn and pretty basic. My son has been playing games like this since he was 7 and is 15 now. It's not about the stuff in the game that matters, it's what kids are taught. I get tired of all this nanny crap of "it's to mature". It's the job of the parents to decide that not some outside all knowing source that doesn't know my kid at all.

So no it doesn't need an age requirement. Heck my 10 year old daughter loves to watch me play. She's just really really bad at RTS style game.
