Default Chrome works better with this forum than Firefox?

I don't post much in other forums, so I don't know how the situation is there.

But these forums really look like working better with Chrome. Such as editing the
    • list
    • tags

embedding a picture etc, Firefox puts them directly into this edit box, while in Chrome I only see text and only the "source" of extra stuff.

    Anyone else noticed this?

PS I use both Firefox and Chrome.

I know chrome works fine with these forums and it's a *bit* faster than Firefox, but I have my reasons to use them both.

    Oh thenks, dint notis dat.

Edit: See? Firefox automatically shows and makes your green words and [Bold] tags go up and it's difficult to edit them.

I use Chrome. Embedding images works fine for me.

Both are good in their own way.

But the problem I raised here is that Firefox treats bbcode directly as ready material in the edit box. This does not happen in Chrome.

I mean this (possibly) happens only in End of Nations Forums.

I've been on many forums and I don't remember Firefox doing that, so it might just be on this forum or this type of forum

You can enable or disable this in your forum settings.
However, there it also says, that some of the more advanced stuff doesn't work in every browser, which should be the reason why it is different depending on which browser you use.

You can find it by clicking on "Settings" then under "My Account" you click on "General Settings" and scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options"

Chrome already loses because the tabs are at the top so until they fix that I won't be using it anyway

    Also it doesn't have noscript.

    @DMII
Thanks man, that did the trick... partially. Here is how text looks in enhanced editor in Firefox:

In Chrome, it is pure text, no formatting in edit box.

    EDIT EDIT
Oh okay I got everything, every type is for specific browser:
When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately.

Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type.
