C&C + EON - The Order of Nations = GDi - NOD

Hi,

I want to say that C&C TS + RA2 is brandet into my heart.
All of my thoughts are of the viewpoint of an old gamer. I know that everything is new and of it's own accord, so forgive me if I hurt your feelings with my ideas.

Like me, a few of you liked the c&c series from westwood, too. So I'm really interested, what do you guys think seems the Order of Nations (NPC) to be?

the "Good / Bad" Guys like NOD?

I think...

... the Liberation Front
seems to be the "good side" of GDI + Allied

... the Shadow Revolution
seems to be the evolution of NOD + Sowjets but I can't tell if they will represent the "good" or "bad" guys.

... the Order of Nations
seems to be the real evil NOD + GDI bad guys... I really like their units the most, I even would like to play them if this would be possible.


So what is your thought to the factions?

The GDI was a syndicate of the G20, so they are the good guys by definition. And not a top down hierarchy organization ruled by a single committe/institution like the Order of Nations.

NOD is in the lore of the C&C universe a socialist religious brotherhood with the cult of personality of Kane.

The Order of Nations is like the real UN bloated bureaucracy but expanded globally replacing all other government institutions and the UN peacekeeping force being used as terror army. so its unique concept.

Oh yes. I liked KKND. KKND 2 was my favorite out of the series. I think I'm gonna play it... I just need to find my disks.

some mods, tried to implemend KKND2 into C&C as KKND3... but after EA bought C&C they also bought KKND...

somehow they really bought up every RTS title... the mods who where published are pretty amazing, but a whole bunch of mods never really hit the release and staid closed or open alpha, I think KkND3 is dead aswell http://www.moddb.com/games/kknd-3

It's amazing, EA is the most hated company in its own market, and its too big of a leviathan to ignore/boycott and protest against or even sue.

Well at least we old timers have our own games, and we can teach our kids to play them instead of buy the new **** EA keep pumping out.

I wish EA would take their head out of their butts and actually make a decent game, that feels complete.... Every single time they devour a company, all the games of that company take a turn for the worse. It saddens me.
