I think so only one of the orginal characters, runes are messed up now as well as horrable class choices. Might as well go play diablo 2 lod myth mod. posted some small points out like wheres the other classes on Blizzards main sight and it was taken down in lesss then 5 min. cant take critisim then get out of the game making profession ruined starcraft 2 as well with heart of the swarm

Imo, sequences should have a 'trial version' for owners of the previous games. Alot of the times, people buy these games betting they will deliver what the others have with better graphics and improved gameplay, then become greatly dissapointed.

Take call of duty for example. Dont get me wrong, i love the series, and bought every single one, but if i knew what black ops and MW3 would be like, i'd just keep on playing MW2. Its the exact game engine, with minor gameplay tweaks, enhanced stress (like the all so 'fun' ballistic knife or air support spam ) and smaller maps. Not worth at all, and considering the entire gaming comunity gets split after the map packs, even though they should be free and not cost a new game each, you end up playing vs the same wallhackers that never get banned since theres very few servers to choose from.

Another example is Supreme commanders 1 and 2. Completely diferent games. Both have their cons and pros? Yea, but are games for 2 diferent kinds of gamers. Should've been a new title. 1st theres a real resource management. On 2nd, its a 200+ unit spam every min and hoping enemy bases will have 1 less base structure rebuilt on every assault. Most people that enjoy the online pvp on supcom 1, dont like it on 2 and vice-versa.

Despite better judgement, ill probably buy diiablo 3 since i was a big fan of the 2nd. Sadly, im already expecting a sort of let down, as it looks more as one of those shiny toys you really want, but after buying you see theres not much you can do with it. Hope im wrong.

totally agree with you, supreme commander 1 should of been entitled Total Annihilation 2 (its RIGHTFUL name) and supcom 2 should be... supcom...
some of my friends who bought supcom 2 first say they didnt like supcom 1. because its resource management was brokededed.... that it was too 'complicated' putting a energy storage next to a factory........

although ive played diablo 1. and 2/lod. and then ive played the diablo 3 beta. and for the length of the beta, ive played it countless times. Its 100x better with a friend. Loot is dropped to individual players (no jumping for a rare item and saying to your friend 'YOU ALWAYS STEAL THE GOOD STUFF')

To me, still like diablo 1, the most. diablo 2 is great, definatly better then 1. and diablo 3 is DEFINATLY better than 2. but to the players who are 'expecting' the good game, will be disapointed. but its definatly a successor. just not what the fans are expecting.
i think people need to personally drop every thought about diablo 3 beta, Wait till it comes out in a month. Play it till the end. THEN decide your thought. Play the other characters. decide some more, think to yourself, how long have u played it? how much longer WILL you play it?

True Sup-Com games though bolth good are diffrent games. It seemed that supcom 2 lacked in overall replayablity to few unites and tiers are absent taken over by an upgrade tree. it was a good idea but needs improvment which im sure they will do if they make another. considering this one was a hybrid.and about diablo three i havn't played it so over all i cant say much. Though the research ive done on it dosn't do it justice. It seems after the WOW expasions Blizzards has been putting games out too fast like most of the other companys (infinityward hense the same engine three times) focusing on graphics instead of game play. Id rather play a great game with horrable graphics than a bad game with perfect ones.
