Well it sounds like we are not even being given the choice about the refund. That may mean that they are changing a lot of things that could affect the contents of the digital editions (i.e. some of the heroes may be changing, or the pricing model, or whatever) and thus it would be better to refund the money rather than simply say "Oh by the way, the contents of your pre-purchased game have changed."I wonder how far EoN has gone back... I am not a PC expert but I have played in both Alpha and Beta testing and would like to continue Test Playing either one I received the refund letter but would like the game i asked for instead. I know this is not possible but you have to hope it could happen,(lol) I really, really, really would love to contime playing some form of this game. It makes all the rest pale by comparison. Thats my 2 cents worth,but I will continue reading and waiting for the final(or Beta) release of this game.(VERY IMPATIENTLY,LOL)
complaining about a free game is completely silly.
Let's remember a few things before we bash Trion or Petro.. ITS A FREE GAME that costs them money to operate.. I was away a few days the last week of game, but before that, there were only a few of us hardcore fans playing regularly and not a lot of money going into the game.. so be patient, it isn't being cancelled or anything horrible, let them figure out all the logistics and be happy that the game exists and is able to played for free when it is up and running. We all know how awesome this game and the amount of work these people are putting into the game, I am sure it will be released when it is 100% ready for us to play.. miss playing with you guys.
