The question from here on forth won't be "will it release or not", it will be "will it be worth the time, money and effort"...and in next summer it will be changed to summer 2014 :P
The last 2 or so months before they shut down the servers you had almost no hope of getting a game going there were that few left.
That is common with most games in closed alpha/beta. It's only natural that the testers burnout, a lot of them had been playing EoN (essentially an unfinished version of EoN) for almost a full year.

This game looks absolutely amazing!!! Ive been gaming for years and this game really looks like its gonna be a game changer. Really hope i can get into the alpha/Beta game
