I rather like the idea of something faster with a lot of punch, but it would have to sacrifice about everything else in the name of balance, that is, flexibility and defense. So... special purpose tank! The anti-tank tank?
Something like that.
Normally i would always go with the speed but wat i want in a tank is some nice brute force. I will get my speed in other classes

I prefer a Well Balanced Tank cause it has a speed and moderate firepower quick and maneuverable easy to set an ambush and to execute targets![]()
all round type of tanks that can attack both land and air just so i don't get massacred but flying units
Light/Fast Tanks are supposed to be used against light structures and for infantry support.
Medium Tanks are designed to be used against medium structures, taking out light tanks, and to be an all rounded attack and defense platform.
Heavy/Main Battle Tanks are designed to take out heavy structures, enemy defensive fortifications like pill boxes, killing light and medium tanks, holding territory, and leading breakthroughs. Should be supported by mechanized infantry whenever possible.
Super Tanks are designed mostly for causing psychological terror in enemy tank operators, smashing through heavy fortifications, and obliterating enemy tanks. They are too big, too fuel inefficient and too slow to do most, if not all, of the jobs lighter tanks re designed to do. Super tanks should not be supported by infantry because they types of targets they are designed to fight would slaughter all infantry supporting the tank, live super machine gun next and heavy artillery.
Speed and tons of damage! i like hit-and-run tactics ;P
I like tanks that act as APCs and inherit the garrisoned units attacks. (If you garrison anti infantry infantry then they have LMG's, etc - Grenadiers = grenade launchers, Rocketeers = Rockets, etc)
Gotta go with special purpose. Something like siege tanks in siege mode from Starcraft. Or a big-*** tank that's also carrying a unit of troops inside it that can disembark at any point.
Or a Squiggoth!

I prefer a balanced tank, jack of all trades if you will, can do well in any and almost all situations the bread and butter of any army. I do have a liking to tanks with a special role or unique ability, kinda reminds me of when i used to play yuris revenge i use to get a small army of negatron tanks and just lift other tanks of the battlefield and drop them on one another, was great fun (fyi negatron tanks could channel a beam at a tank and lift it in the air and bring it towards you:P)
